How often should I inspect my RECON-O-SENSE System?
Perform inspections every three to six months, or more frequently if maintenance staff or a
roofing contractor have convenient roof access.

When a RECON-O-SENSE indicator displays red, it signifies that the sensor has detected
moisture within the roof system at that specific location.
A qualified roofing professional should then inspect the roof based on the sensor's data to accurately pinpoint and resolve the leak source.

Can the RECON-O-SENSE sensor be replaced?
While the sensor is replaceable, repairs will necessitate one of two options: fully dry the
current insulation in the affected area, or remove and substitute an 8x8 foot section with
new insulation.
Can the RECON-O-SENSE System be installed with wet or damp surfaces on
the insulation?
No, all installed sensors should be installed in fully dry insulation.
Does the RECON-O-SENSE sensor reset after detecting wet insulation?
No, the sensor is a one time Activation.
